Tim
Huff hails
from Binghamton, NY. He received his early training working at a
drapery workroom. This gave him an understanding of fabrics and how
they drape, hang and perform in a variety of circumstances. After
completing a course in Interior Design, Tim was promoted to the
position of Interior Decorator and outside Sales Associate. As his
reputation grew, he was invited to teach a continuing education course
in Interior Decorating at Broome County Community College, which he
did successfully for three semesters. In
1987 Tim relocated to St. Petersburg where he worked for several
decorating houses before opening his own showroom in downtown St.
Petersburg in 1995. During the years, Tim has presented many
decorating seminars throughout the local area. In 1997 he was awarded
The Presidents Award by the Beach Drive & Downtown Business
Association. In
1998 Tim was elected President of the Association and he was
re-elected to this position in 1999. Tim Huff was the recipient of the
Paul Avey Award for 1998 which is presented for a commitment to
excellence. In
2000 Vintage Interiors was relocated to Tim’s home. Since most of
the business is in the customer’s home, along with going to
workrooms and fabric houses, this has proved to be the best move. Now
Tim is also free to be at most of the window treatment installations,
continuing to give the best customer service. He also stays involved
with several local events. Among them Art in Bloom at the Fine Arts
Museum and the free Florida Orchestra Concert in the Park. Tim
